Not sure if you realized but when sending an email using MailYouLike with addresses in the Bcc field, instead of sending one single email with all the Bcc addresses hidden, MailYouLike generate actually a new different email for each recipient in the Bcc field and place him in the To field.
Why is this cool? Well, for two reasons:
- Users get to have a nice email addresses to them instead to "undisclosed-recipients" (Look much more professional)
- The emails doesn't contain all the hidden recipients, significantly reducing the size of the email itself! With this technique, I was able to reduce a standard email from 36kb to 8kb! As soon as MailYouLike will be able to handle mailing lists, this will be a BIG add-on.
